With SafeTea, we designed a smart device to help people with shaky hands safely pour hot water. Using distance and temperature sensors with an Arduino, the system detects when a cup is in place and pours automatically. When the warmth sensor detects a low water temperature, a blue LED signals, indicating that the water is no longer warm enough.
