SMArt Trash Can
To tackle littering among Dutch youth aged 16-25, we designed a smart trash can that rewards users financially when throwing away waste properly. Inspired by the “statiegeld” system, it uses positive reinforcement to change behavior. By aiming to partner with governments and supermarkets, this scalable solution could encourage cleaner streets and environmental responsibility.
